Apple seems to be struggling with its hardware lately as the company has today began rolling out a replacement program for the iPhone 8.
The company says devices sold between September 2017 through March 2018 in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, and the U.S are affected.
Just like most of Apple’s other repair programs, you’ll need your serial number handy as you’ll have to punch that into the program’s website.
As usual, devices that have any sort of physical damage such as a cracked screen will need to be repaired before getting sent in for service.
The repair will be free of charge as long as your iPhone 8 is in good shape. Apple does not mention whether or not this affects iPhone 8 Plus at this time. The program will be available up to three years after the original purchase of the device.
